What is a crown?

A crown is a natural looking, tooth-shaped cap used to restore the appearance, strength, size and shape of a broken or worn tooth. Crowns are generally used to cover broken teeth, to protect weak teeth or to provide support to a deteriorated tooth.

We provide high quality and long lasting crown installations. In some cases when the original tooth is badly broken, has extensive cavities, or a very old filling, the crown must be supported with a build-up. A build-up is a solid foundation upon which a quality crown rests.
